How CCPD Manages COVID-19

Since Spring of 2020, our world has had to rebuild and navigate around the novel coronavirus. We are no exception, but are happy to share what our protocols are — many of which are standard in the practice of  dentistry.

  1. Please do not enter the medical building or our dental practice if you've come into direct contact with a person diagnosed with Covid-19 within the last 14 days.

  2. Please do not enter the medical building or our dental practice if you've experienced symptoms similar to those of Covid-19: fever, chills, body aches, headache, coughing, runny nose, congestion, loss of sense of smell, nausea or vomiting or diarrhea.

  3. Please do not enter the medical building or our dental practice if you've you traveled outside the area — the state or country — in the last 14 days.

  4. You MUST wear a mask at all times.

  5. Elevators are limited to 2 occupants or 1 family.

  6. An adult MUST remain with each patient — NO CHILD MAY ENTER THE BUILDING OR OUR PRACTICE UNACCOMPANIED FOR SAFETY AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING CONCERNS.

When You Enter Our Office:

  1. We will check you and your family’s temperature(s)

  2. Maintain your mask over face and nose until indicated otherwise

  3. Limit to one person per family, unless additional support is needed or in case of a sedation

  4. Remain seated altogether

  5. No playroom activities open

  6. You will remain in one room the duration of your visit

  7. Our team will guide you to and from your area to manage the flow of persons

  8. Avoid touching additional items

  9. Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose and mouth

  10. Please wash your hands! If you prefer hand sanitizer, it is easily accessible

Our office is cleaned routinely and in frequent timing sessions. All doors remain open to avoid any further contact points. If you need to use pens, we have deposits for clean vs dirty. All surfaces are cleaned with hospital grade disinfectants. All our toys are managed by our team at the end. Our families and staff are all highly respectful during these stressful and uncertain times.

If you feel very strongly that this is not the time for you and your family to continue your routine dental care and you have no emergency needs, we understand and respect your wishes. Dr. Karen and our team are here to support your needs!
